Manufactured in Japan by Sakai Special Camera Mfg. Co., the Toyo-View 45 GX is a Yaw-Free large-format camera based on the well known Toyo-View 45 G II. The 45 GX camera model has the Yaw-Free feature, as well as a depth-of-field calculator.
The Toyo-View 45 GX has both base and center axis tilt for total image control and freedom to choose any operating photography technique. The Toyo-View 45 GX, in the tradition of the Toyo cameras modular system, maintains complete compatibility with all existing Toyo cameras. In addition to the fine geared controls and movement capability of the traditional Toyo-View G series, the GX has a unique bi-axial yaw-free design with dual system base and center axis tilts, as well as a 1⁄3 stop calibrated depth-of-field calculator, midpoint calibrated rack and pinion rise and shift movements and large control knobs.
Toyo-View 45 GX Pro large-format camera includes non-vignetting 360° revolving back with easy-load bail arm, Toyo acid etched grid ground-glass with 6x7cm and 6x9cm markings, super-brite fresnel lens, quick release mounting block with 1⁄4˝ and 3⁄8˝ tripod sockets, 250mm monorail, 250mm monorail extension, standard bellows, predrilled #0 lensboard and dual-axis spirit level on front and rear.
